UK (Norwich University of the Arts) Norwich University of the Arts Alumni curate international exhibition In association with the New York Times
HOME is a multimedia exhibition comprised of nine international artists, curated by Norwich University of the Arts Alumni Androulla Michael, and artist and curator Minnie Weisz at the Athens Democracy Forum.
Presented at the tenth anniversary of the Athens Democracy Forum, HOME explored pressing themes of war, exile, displacement, be(longing), migration, and identity, presenting a world under many strains. Each artist’s response called for urgency in securing sustainable geopolitical stability, highlighting the vital role creatives play in the direction and innovation of this resolve.
“Let art be the universal language that conveys the lived realities underpinning the need for such a forum.”
